The CHAUVET DJ COLORstrip Mini is a compact 19-inch four-channel DMX-512 controlled LED linear wash light designed for uplighting and eye-catching lighting effects. Its slim linear design makes it suitable for stages, events, entertainment spaces, and decorative installations. The fixture provides RGB color mixing for creating a wide range of vibrant lighting effects. Static colors can be selected with or without a DMX controller for convenient standalone operation. Its compact format makes it easy to incorporate into a variety of professional and mobile lighting setups.
RGB LED Light Source
The COLORstrip Mini uses 192 LEDs consisting of 64 red, 64 green, and 64 blue LEDs for full RGB color mixing. Each LED is rated at 0.25 W with a 20 mA operating current and a life expectancy of up to 100,000 hours. The fixture produces a 37° x 33° beam angle for broad and effective linear illumination. It delivers an illuminance of 1,192 lux at 2 meters for strong output in a compact housing. The RGB LED configuration provides flexible color creation for both atmospheric and dynamic lighting applications.
DMX and Standalone Control
The COLORstrip Mini provides four DMX channels through 3-pin XLR connectors for integration into compatible lighting control systems. Users can operate the fixture through DMX or access static colors and built-in functions without a controller. Blackout, static color, dimmer, and strobe functions provide essential lighting control options. The fixture also includes automated and sound-activated programs for dynamic standalone operation. These control options make it suitable for users who need both professional DMX functionality and simplified standalone operation.
Master/Slave Operation
Multiple COLORstrip Mini fixtures can be linked together using master/slave operation to create coordinated lighting effects. Up to 31 units can be linked to produce synchronized color-changing runway effects across multiple fixtures. The fixture can also be linked with other COLORstrip and COLORstrip Mini fixtures for coordinated light shows. Power linking helps reduce the number of power cables and extension cords required during installation. This provides a practical solution for creating larger coordinated lighting displays.
Convenient Wireless Control
The COLORstrip Mini supports convenient wireless non-DMX control through the optional IRC-6 infrared remote. This provides users with an additional control method when a dedicated DMX controller is not required. The fixture is also compatible with the optional LED-FS1 controller for expanded lighting control. Its multiple control options make it adaptable to different event, mobile DJ, and installation requirements. Power and Installation
The COLORstrip Mini operates from an auto-ranging 100 to 240 VAC power supply at 50/60 Hz.
