The Chauvet DJ Freedom Flex H9 IP X6 (FREEDOMFLEXH9IPX6) is a complete wireless uplighting package: six battery-powered Freedom Flex H9 IP hex-color (RGBAW+UV) uplights, six swappable battery packs and a wheeled road case that charges all six batteries at once. Each light has nine 10W LEDs, a built-in D-Fi transceiver for wireless DMX, an RF receiver for the included RFC remote, an IP54 housing for temporary outdoor use, and a run time you set to 3, 5, 8 or 12 hours.
It is made for mobile DJs and event lighting companies who uplight wedding receptions, ballrooms, tents and patios. There are no power cords or DMX cables to run, the six lights roll in together, and because the batteries come out without tools, a charged spare Freedom Flex Battery H9 can replace a low one in the middle of an event.

Are the lights included, or just the road case?
The lights are included. The X6 comes with six Freedom Flex H9 IP uplights, six batteries, six magnetic diffusers, the charging road case and an RFC remote.
How long does the battery last?
As long as you set it to. Set each light's run time to 3, 5, 8 or 12 hours to match the event. A full recharge takes 3 hours in the road case, and for back-to-back events a spare Freedom Flex Battery H9 swaps in without tools.
Can I use them outdoors?
Yes, for temporary outdoor use. The housing is rated IP54, and Chauvet builds it for temporary outdoor situations such as a patio reception or a tented event.
Do I need DMX cables or a lighting controller?
No. The included RFC remote controls the lights over RF. For DMX control without cables, the built-in D-Fi transceiver receives wireless DMX from a D-Fi transmitter such as the D-Fi USB 2 or the FlareCON Air 2. Chauvet also lists the RFC-XL remote and FlareCON as optional controllers.
How is the Freedom Flex H9 IP X6 different from the Freedom Par H9 IP X4?
Both use nine 10W RGBAW+UV LEDs per light, IP54 housings, D-Fi and RF control, and 3, 5, 8 or 12-hour run times with a 3-hour recharge. The Flex H9 IP is brighter and wider: 2,028 lumens and a 28° beam (45° with the diffuser), against 1,258 lumens and a 23° beam (40° with the diffuser) for the Par H9 IP. The X6 adds two more lights, swappable batteries and a wheeled road case that charges all six. The Freedom Par H9 IP X4 is four lights in a carry bag with a multi-charger.
Can the uplights match a white venue?
Yes, with the optional Freedom Flex 9 Sleeve X6: six white cast aluminum sleeves that slide on without tools and can stay on for storage and transport.
