Chauvet DJ Intimidator Scan 360, 100W LED Scanner Effect

The Chauvet DJ Intimidator Scan 360 (INTIMSCAN360) is a 100 W LED scanner effect built for mobile DJs and small stages. It throws fast, sharp beams with 8 colors plus white, 7 gobos plus open, a 3-facet rotating prism and motorized focus, and weighs 12.6 lb (5.7 kg).

Motorized focus projects crisp gobos from nearly any distance, and high-frequency LED dimming keeps the output flicker-free on video. Run it on 8 or 12 DMX channels, set, save and recall 1 scene from the full-color LCD display, or control it wirelessly without DMX using the optional IRC-6 remote. Power linking cuts down on extension cords: up to 4 units at 120 V.

How many DMX channels does the Intimidator Scan 360 use?

It runs in 8-channel or 12-channel DMX mode, connected with 3-pin XLR cables. CHAUVET DJ also publishes a ShowXpress profile for it.

Can I use it without a DMX controller?

Yes. You can set, save and recall 1 scene directly from the full-color LCD display, and the optional IRC-6 remote gives you wireless, non-DMX control.

Does it look good on camera?

Yes. High-frequency LED dimming gives flicker-free output for video, so it suits livestreams and event filming.

Intimidator Scan 360 or Intimidator Scan 110?
