Chauvet DJ SLIMPAR 64 RGBA ILS, LED PAR Wash Light

The Chauvet DJ SlimPAR 64 RGBA ILS (SLIMPAR64RGBAILS) is a slim LED PAR wash light for DJs, bands, churches and event uplighting. It packs 180 red, green, blue and amber LEDs into a 2.5 in (64 mm) deep housing that weighs 2.2 lb (1 kg), draws 17 W and power-links up to 33 units at 120 V.

The amber LEDs widen the color range and help produce natural-looking warm tones. ILS compatibility lets you build coordinated shows with other ILS fixtures, it runs RGBA color mixing and static colors with or without DMX, and D-Fi USB (sold separately) adds wireless master/slave or DMX control.

What does the amber LED add?

Warmer, more natural tones. Amber widens the color range beyond plain RGB and helps produce warm color temperatures for skin tones, wedding uplighting and stage washes.

How many can I run from one outlet?

Up to 33 units at 120 V can be power-linked, because each one draws only 17 W (0.2 A at 120 V).

Does it work without a DMX controller?

Yes. It runs RGBA color mixing and static colors with or without DMX, syncs with other fixtures through ILS, and accepts D-Fi USB (sold separately) for wireless master/slave or DMX control.

How do I carry a set?

It fits the Chauvet DJ CHS-30 VIP Gear Bag.

SlimPAR 64 RGBA ILS or SlimPAR Pro H USB?

The SlimPAR 64 RGBA ILS uses 180 small RGBA LEDs, a 15° beam with 872 lux at 2 m, weighs 2.2 lb and links 33 units at 120 V, with ILS built in. The SlimPAR Pro H USB uses 12 hex-color LEDs (red, green, blue, amber, white and UV), a 24° beam with 3,218 lux at 2 m, weighs 7.2 lb and links 5 units at 120 V. Pick the SlimPAR 64 RGBA ILS for light, low-power uplighting in numbers, the Pro H USB for more output and white and UV. For a compact wash with built-in Bluetooth, see the SlimPAR T6BT.
