The CHAUVET Professional COLORado PXL Curve 1 is a compact IP65-rated RGBW beam and wash fixture designed for indoor and outdoor professional lighting applications. It combines a 120W RGBW LED source with dual linear cool-white and warm-white strobe cells for versatile visual effects. Motorized pan, tilt, and zoom provide flexible positioning and beam control. The fixture is designed for side-by-side pixel mapping, while alignment pins help maintain consistent spacing between multiple units. Its compact and lightweight construction makes it suitable for creating large, seamless lighting arrays.
RGBW Beam and Wash Performance
The COLORado PXL Curve 1 combines beam and wash capabilities in a single compact fixture. Its 120W RGBW LED provides vibrant color output while the motorized zoom allows the fixture to adapt between concentrated and wider lighting effects. Illuminance reaches up to 17,242 lux at 5 meters without strobe at a 3.2° beam setting. The fixture also provides electronic dimming and shutter control for precise lighting transitions. This makes it suitable for stages, events, touring productions, architectural installations, and outdoor entertainment applications.
Advanced Pixel Strobe Effects
Two linear strobe sections provide cool-white and warm-white lighting effects around the main RGBW source. The strobe system features eight independently controlled sections for creating pixel-mapped chases and animated visual effects. Strobe rates can be adjusted from 0 to 25 Hz for a range of dynamic effects. The cool-white and warm-white cells can complement the RGBW output with high-impact flashes and accent effects. This combination allows the fixture to function as a wash, beam, and specialized strobe source.
Motorized Pan, Tilt, and Zoom
The fixture provides motorized movement with 60° of pan and 190° of tilt for dynamic positioning. Its quick and quiet movement is designed for articulating arrays and animated lighting looks. Motorized zoom provides flexible beam control for both concentrated and wider coverage. Move-in-black functionality helps reduce unwanted visible movement during programmed fixture transitions. Electronic dimming and multiple dimming curves provide additional control over output behavior.
Seamless Array Design
The COLORado PXL Curve 1 is optimized for side-by-side pixel mapping with multiple fixtures. Integrated alignment pins help maintain consistent pixel pitch when units are arranged together. Uniform color blending allows multiple fixtures to visually combine into larger continuous arrays. The compact rectangular head helps maintain a consistent appearance across a lighting rig. This makes the fixture well suited to large-scale pixel-mapped arrays and creative articulating installations.
Flexible Control and Management
The fixture supports DMX, sACN, and Art-Net control for integration into professional lighting networks. Four DMX personalities provide 24, 31, 39, or 71-channel configurations depending on the desired level of control. RDM enables remote addressing and fixture monitoring, while NFC allows settings to be configured using a compatible mobile device without applying power. These control options simplify setup, programming, and fixture management in professional production environments.
Weatherproof Construction and Rigging
The IP65-rated construction allows the COLORado PXL Curve 1 to operate in demanding indoor and outdoor environments. IP65-rated 5-pin DMX and TCP/IP connections provide secure data connectivity and linking. Seetronic Powerkon power input and output connections support professional power distribution. The included slotted Omega bracket allows quick and secure installation on truss structures. Its compact 15 lb design also helps reduce structural load when building larger arrays.
