The Crown CDI2X600 2-Channel Drive Core Series Power Amplifier - 600W is represents the next evolution in installed sound amplification, combining high-performance audio, advanced features, and cost-effective design. Derived from Crown’s flagship Drive Core Install series, this 2-channel amplifier is ideal for medium-sized installations such as cinemas, houses of worship, bars, and lounges. The 2|600 supports direct 70V/100V operation without requiring a transformer, simplifying installation while providing reliable, high-fidelity audio. Pre-loaded JBL speaker tunings further streamline setup, ensuring quick and accurate system optimization.
At the heart of the 2|600 is Crown’s proprietary Drive Core technology, which reduces hundreds of internal components, enhances reliability, and delivers consistent audio performance. The amplifier features a powerful onboard DSP with 32-bit processing, allowing for input/output parametric EQ, crossovers, LevelMAX limiting, and adjustable delays up to 1000 ms. The intuitive front-panel interface provides full local control, while BLU link connectivity (BL models only) enables sending and receiving channels over HARMAN’s 256-channel fault-tolerant digital audio BUS.
Designed for modern networked installations, the CDi Drive Core 2|600 offers full network control and monitoring via HARMAN’s HiQnet Audio Architect software over standard TCP/IP. A versatile GPIO/AUX port allows external control for recalling presets, muting channels, monitoring faults, and powering the amplifier on or off. With its combination of reliable performance, flexible connectivity, and simplified setup, the 2|600 delivers a powerful and practical solution for professional audio applications.
