The Crown Drive Core TMP-CDI2X600BL represents the next generation of installed sound amplification, combining high performance, advanced features, and cost-effective design. Derived from Crown’s flagship Drive Core Install series, this 2-channel amplifier is ideal for medium-sized installations such as cinemas, houses of worship, bars, and lounges. It supports direct 70V/100V speaker loads without requiring a transformer, simplifying installation while maintaining reliable, high-fidelity audio. Pre-loaded JBL speaker tunings further streamline setup, allowing for quick and accurate system optimization.
At its core, the 2|600BL features Crown’s proprietary Drive Core technology, which reduces hundreds of internal components, improving reliability and ensuring consistent audio performance. The amplifier includes a high-level DSP for custom system configuration, with capabilities such as 8-band parametric EQ, crossovers, LevelMAX limiting, and input/output delays up to 1000 ms. Additionally, the BLU link functionality enables sending and receiving channels over HARMAN’s 256-channel fault-tolerant digital audio BUS, providing seamless digital connectivity.
Designed for flexibility and control, the 2|600BL offers a fully functional front-panel interface for local configuration, as well as a versatile GPIO/AUX port to recall presets, mute channels, monitor faults, or power the amplifier on and off. With its combination of reliability, scalability, and ease of use, the Crown CDi Drive Core 2|600BL delivers professional-grade performance and simplified management for a wide range of installed audio applications.
