The Crown CDI4X600 is a 600W, 4-channel Drive Core Series power amplifier engineered for medium-sized installations including cinemas, houses of worship, bars, lounges, and similar venues. Built on technology derived from Crown’s flagship Drive Core Install series, it delivers high performance, a rich feature set, and strong value. Its integrated Drive Core circuitry replaces hundreds of traditional components, increasing reliability and ensuring clean, accurate audio reproduction from an efficient design.
This amplifier offers intuitive operation with network control and monitoring, advanced onboard DSP, and a color LCD front panel interface. It supports HiQnet Audio Architect for configuration over standard TCP/IP networks and includes programmable GPIO ports for system integration. DSP capabilities include EQ filters, crossovers, delays, LevelMAX limiters, and support for FIR filter imports. With 20 presets (1 factory, 19 user), installers can quickly adapt the amplifier to different environments and system needs.
The CDi 4|600 is designed for flexibility and protection. Each channel can independently operate in low-Z or 70/100V high-Z mode without the need for transformers, and the unit comes preloaded with JBL speaker tunings to streamline setup. A universal power supply with PFC, power-saving modes, and remote sleep functionality ensures efficient operation. Multiple protection circuits safeguard against shorted outputs, overheating, DC, mismatched loads, and voltage irregularities. It supports BSS Sound web controllers, meets HARMAN Green Edge standards, and is backed by a three-year, no-fault transferable warranty.
