Description
The DiGiCo MOD-D2R-DAC is an 8-channel analogue output expansion card designed specifically for the DiGiCo D2-Rack. It adds eight analogue line outputs to the rack through one of its available output expansion slots. The card provides professional-quality analogue conversion and uses XLR connections for integration with amplifiers, loudspeaker systems, recording equipment, and other professional audio devices.
Expanded Analogue Output Capacity
The MOD-D2R-DAC adds 8 analogue outputs to the D2-Rack, expanding its output capability beyond the rack's standard outputs. A second MOD-D2R-DAC can be installed in the remaining expansion slot, providing up to 16 additional analogue outputs and allowing the D2-Rack to reach a maximum of 32 outputs.
Professional XLR Connectivity
The card provides eight analogue line outputs through XLR connectors for straightforward connection to professional audio equipment. These outputs can be used for loudspeaker feeds, monitor mixes, auxiliary outputs, recording feeds, and other line-level applications within a DiGiCo system.
High-Quality Analogue Conversion
The MOD-D2R-DAC is designed for high-quality digital-to-analogue conversion, with a maximum output level of +24 dBu and a stated D-A dynamic range of 133 dB. Its published specifications also include 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response of ±0.35 dB and -100 dB crosstalk performance.
Flexible D2-Rack Expansion
The card takes advantage of the D2-Rack's two dedicated output expansion slots. It can be combined with another compatible output card to customize the rack for different analogue, AES/EBU, or other output requirements.
