The DiGiCo X-OB-D2-KLANG Orange Box combines Dante2 audio networking with KLANG immersive mixing in one compact rackmount system. This configuration allows engineers to route network audio into the KLANG processing system and create personalized monitor mixes for performers. Immersive In-Ear Monitoring Performance
The installed DMI-KLANG card provides immersive in-ear monitoring with up to 64 input channels and 16 independent stereo mixes. Musicians can position instruments and vocals within a three-dimensional listening environment, helping create clearer and more natural monitor mixes. Each performer can receive a personalized mix suited to their monitoring preferences. With processing latency of approximately 0.25ms, the system is designed to deliver responsive monitoring for demanding live performances and professional production environments.
Dante2 Audio Network Connectivity
The DMI-DANTE2 card connects the Orange Box to compatible Dante audio networks, allowing audio to be routed between networked equipment and the KLANG immersive monitoring system. This provides a practical connection between Dante-enabled consoles, stage equipment, and other compatible professional audio devices. Audio received through the Dante interface can be made available to the DMI-KLANG card for immersive mix processing. This combination brings network audio connectivity and personal monitoring together in one rackmount unit.
