The DiGiCo X-Q338-W-WS-PREM combines the advanced Quantum 338 engine with integrated Waves SoundGrid connectivity in a MADI-only configuration. Built on seventh-generation FPGA technology, it delivers exceptional processing power, ultra-low latency, and dependable performance for live sound, broadcast, theatre, and installation applications. MADI-Only Connectivity
The MADI-only configuration is designed for users who rely exclusively on MADI networking without Optocore connectors. It provides up to six MADI interfaces at 48 kHz or three at 96 kHz, dual DMI expansion slots, AES/EBU digital I/O, and a built-in UB MADI USB recording interface for flexible routing and recording. This configuration is ideal for facilities and touring systems built around MADI infrastructure while still supporting integrated Waves SoundGrid functionality.
Integrated Waves SoundGrid
Built-in Waves SoundGrid connectivity enables seamless integration with Waves plugins for professional live processing. When paired with a compatible Waves SoundGrid server, engineers can access studio-quality EQs, compressors, reverbs, and other effects with ultra-low latency. Plugin control is available directly from the console, allowing fast adjustments without interrupting the mixing workflow. Professional Control Surface
The Quantum 338 features three 17-inch, 1000-nit high-brightness multitouch displays that provide excellent visibility under any lighting conditions. Seventy dedicated TFT channel displays work alongside 38 motorized 100mm touch-sensitive faders to provide immediate access to channel information and control. The ergonomic layout, customizable interface, and dark mode improve efficiency while reducing operator fatigue during extended productions.
Exceptional Audio Performance
Ultimate Stadius 32-bit analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion delivers pristine audio quality with exceptional clarity, dynamic range, and minimal distortion. Eight local microphone/line inputs and eight local line outputs ensure premium signal integrity throughout the console.
