Powered by three high-performance FPGAs, it offers significantly increased processing capability while maintaining the familiar workflow trusted by professional engineers. Powerful Audio Processing
With more than 450 processing paths operating at 96kHz, the Quantum 5 provides up to 256 input channels, 128 buses, and a fully featured 36×36 matrix. Advanced channel processing includes dynamic EQ, multiple dynamics sections, channel delay, dual inserts, and comprehensive filtering. This extensive processing power allows engineers to manage even the most complex productions with confidence and precision.
Mustard & Spice Rack Technology
The Quantum 5 features DiGiCo's renowned Mustard Processing, bringing classic analog-inspired preamps, EQs, compressors, and dynamics directly into every channel. Complementing this is the FPGA-powered Spice Rack, offering up to 12 insertable processing slots including the powerful Chilli 6 multiband compressor. Together, these tools provide studio-quality sound shaping without external hardware.
Flexible Connectivity
Built for modern production environments, the Quantum 5 offers extensive connectivity options. It includes local analog and AES I/O, multiple redundant MADI ports, dual DMI expansion slots, integrated Waves SoundGrid connectivity, USB MADI recording, and Optocore fiber networking. Advanced Mixing Control
The console incorporates innovative technologies including Nodal Processing for highly detailed monitor mixing and True Solo for accurate artist monitoring.
