Powered by a dual-engine architecture and five high-performance FPGAs, the Quantum 852 sets a new benchmark in digital mixing performance. It supports up to 384 input channels, 192 Aux/Sub-Group buses, a 64 x 64 processing matrix, and dedicated LR, LCR, and 5.1 master buses. The console also includes 64 FX Rack slots, 48 Graphic EQs, 36 Control Groups, and dual Solo buses, giving engineers the flexibility and processing capacity required for large-scale concerts, festivals, broadcasts, and theatrical productions.

Comprehensive Connectivity and Flexible I/O
The Quantum 852 offers extensive connectivity options to support virtually any production environment. Local I/O includes 12 Stadius 32-bit analogue inputs, 12 Stadius 32-bit analogue outputs, and 12 Bit Perfect AES I/O for premium audio performance. The console also provides eight MADI interfaces at 48 kHz, configurable as four redundant MADI connections at 96 kHz, ensuring reliable high-capacity digital audio transport for demanding live applications.
Scalable Networking for Modern Productions
Built for today's networked audio environments, the Quantum 852 includes a standard "Optocore" fibre loop capable of carrying 504 audio channels and supporting up to 14 DiGiCo racks, with an optional dual-loop upgrade expanding capacity to 1,008 channels and 28 racks. Additionally, four dedicated DMI expansion slots (two per engine) allow users to integrate Dante, automatic microphone mixing, and other DiGiCo DMI modules. Each slot provides an additional 64 x 64 channels of I/O, enabling the console to adapt seamlessly to touring, broadcast, theatre, and large-scale live event requirements.
