The Elation Obsidian NXD991, NX DMX Box EDU (Use only Educational Version of NX DMX) is an ideal entry point into the powerful ONYX lighting control platform, designed specifically for students, faculty, and classrooms within accredited educational institutions. This USB-powered, plug-and-play 2-port DMX node offers instant access to DMX In, DMX Out, and RDM communication without the need for drivers or complex setup. Compatible with any PC and ONYX console, the NX DMX EDU version provides a fast, affordable way to expand lighting control capabilities in learning environments.

By enabling the ONYX NOVA license for up to 4 Universes, NX DMX lets users assign the device to any of 255 Universes on an ONYX-licensed PC or console, making it a versatile solution for education, small events, tradeshows, clubs, churches, and test stations.
