The Entec 71031 DIN Ethergate Mk2 is a next-generation Ethernet to DMX/RDM gateway engineered for architectural, commercial, and entertainment lighting installations. Designed for reliability and fast deployment, it provides bi-directional Ethernet to DMX512-A conversion with ArtRDM support, enabling seamless integration between modern networked lighting systems and traditional DMX fixtures. Its dual Ethernet ports, including PoE support, allow simple daisy-chaining for streamlined installations, while configuration and firmware updates are easily handled through an intuitive localhost web interface accessible from any computer on your network.
Built with installers in mind, the DIN Ethergate Mk2 features a slim, electrically insulated 4-DIN-module housing with flexible mounting options, including a TS35 DIN-rail clip and wall-mount capability in any orientation. Pluggable terminal connectors and built-in DMX termination simplify wiring, while the web interface’s Current Port Buffer enables real-time DMX monitoring for efficient troubleshooting. Once powered, the device is operational within seconds, helping reduce setup time and ensuring dependable performance across professional installations.
Advanced synchronization and performance features ensure smooth, professional lighting output across large systems. The unit supports both sACN Sync and ArtSync for fully synchronized data transmission, while flexible power options include IEEE 802.3af PoE or 12–24V DC input. Overdrive Mode enables higher transmission speeds of up to 500Kbps, allowing control of up to two universes per port with compatible DMX500K fixtures, making the Entec 71031 a powerful, scalable solution for demanding lighting environments.
