The FBT J8 is a compact passive 2-way loudspeaker engineered for portable sound reinforcement and fixed installation applications. Built with a rugged gas-injected polypropylene enclosure, the J8 combines lightweight portability with reliable durability, making it ideal for clubs, houses of worship, restaurants, conference spaces, retail environments, and mobile DJ setups. Its sleek cabinet design is available in black or white finishes to blend easily into professional environments.
Equipped with a custom 8-inch woofer and a 1-inch high-frequency driver mounted on a 90° x 60° constant directivity horn, the J8 delivers balanced sound reproduction with excellent speech intelligibility and musical clarity. The system handles 160W RMS power and reaches peak SPL levels up to 121.5dB, providing impressive output and dynamic performance for background music, presentations, and live monitoring applications. The wide frequency response of 65Hz – 20kHz ensures detailed low-end warmth and crisp high frequencies.
Designed for installation flexibility, the FBT J8 features dual Speakon NL4M IN & THRU connectors for secure signal connection and system expansion. Integrated M6 fly points and a standard 35mm pole socket allow easy mounting on walls, ceilings, or speaker stands for portable use. Its compact footprint, professional-grade components, and versatile mounting options make the J8 an excellent solution for both permanent installations and mobile audio systems.
