The Fostex PM0-3BD 3" 2-Way 30W Active Speaker System with Bluetooth and USB-DAC - Pair for streaming audio and video content with high-quality sound. The Music/Voice mode switch allows you to choose the sound characteristic according to the application, such as listening to music or emphasizing speech on the video streaming. An integrated DSP provides a powerful sound space on the desktop for video entertainment and games.

Each speaker features a 3" woofer and a 0.7" soft-dome tweeter, which combine for a 100 Hz to 40 kHz frequency response. The right speaker features two 15W amplifiers, which also power the left satellite speaker. The front panel offers an on/off switch and an input selector (BT, USB, Aux). The left rear panel features the Voice mode switch, a USB-C input, and a 3.5mm TRS analog input, as well as an RCA subwoofer output connector and a One-Touch speaker connector for the right speaker. The PM0.3BD includes an AC power adapter, a One-Touch speaker cable, a USB-C to USB-A cable, and a 3.5mm TRS to dual RCA cable.

Music / Voice Mode

The Music mode is suitable for PC audio, smartphone listening, desktop music (DTM), etc., while the Voice mode is suitable for monitoring mainly voice, such as narration for Internet distribution.

Digital Bluetooth/USB and Analog Aux Inputs

Multiple inputs can be switched, such as Bluetooth for smartphones, USB for PC, and analog for audio interfaces.

Newly Designed Drivers

Newly designed 3" woofer and 0.7" soft-dome tweeter. The glass-fiber diaphragm woofer and silk-dome tweeter, combined with precise adjustment by DSP, provide bass delivery, with high-quality sound to match the high-resolution sources.

Enclosure Structure with Separate Amplifier Section

Enclosure is made of wood for natural sound. The active speaker (right side) has a structure that separates the enclosure from the amplifier section to eliminate unnecessary air vibrations of circuit components to exploit the full potential of the 15W+15W digital Amplifier.

The passive speaker (left side) also has the same internal volume using the same structure as right-side enclosure, suppressing the difference in sound quality between the left and right speakers.

Front Panel Controls

To ensure excellent operability, the volume knob and input selector switch are located on the front of the active speaker.

Subwoofer Output

A dedicated output terminal is provided for easy connection to an active subwoofer, such as Fostex PM-SUBmini2, which increases the intensity and power of live performances.

UL Energy Verified

UL Energy Verified certification for superior energy-saving performance. Power saving reduces power consumption when no input signal is detected for at least 15 minutes. The power-saving mode can be turned on or off with a switch on the rear panel.
