The Hofner HI-459-PE-SB is an Ignition Violin Guitar Sunburst. The Hofner Ignition Series Violin Electric Guitar is based on the original Hofner 459 model guitar that hofner built in the 1960’s. It features set-neck construction and a full 25.5" scale. The body is made of flamed maple back & sides with a spruce top and is fitted with to two humbuckers, a three-way switch, volume and tone knobs, a floating rosewood bridge with tune-o-matic and vintage-style tuning machines.
