The JBL Control 25AV-LS-WH Pair is a compact two-way loudspeaker system designed for high-quality background and foreground audio in life safety applications. Each speaker combines a 5.25-inch polypropylene-coated woofer with JBL WeatherEdge surround technology and a 0.75-inch titanium-coated PEI horn-loaded tweeter. Its deep cabinet, high-power components, and optimized crossover network provide extremely smooth high-fidelity performance while maintaining consistent sound throughout the listening area. The pair is UL 1480 UUMW listed and EN54-24 certified for use in fire alarm and emergency communication systems.

Each C25AV-LS-WH features a low-saturation 60W transformer for flexible 70V and 100V distributed speaker-line installations, while the 8-ohm bypass position provides similar high-fidelity performance for low-impedance operation. Transformer taps include 60W, 30W, 15W, and 7.5W at 70V, while the system supports 200W continuous program power and 100W continuous pink-noise power in 8-ohm bypass mode. SonicGuard overload protection helps protect the loudspeaker against excessive input levels, while the 110° horizontal by 85° vertical coverage pattern provides broad and controlled sound distribution.

Built for demanding indoor and outdoor installations, the Control 25AV-LS uses an ABS enclosure with UL94-5VA-rated materials and an aluminum grille finished with polyester powder coating. The woofer's polypropylene-coated cone and WeatherEdge butyl rubber surround help protect critical transducer components, while the titanium-reinforced tweeter diaphragm provides durability and endurance. An InvisiBall aimable wall-mounting system simplifies installation and provides theft deterrence, while sealed MTC-PC2 terminal covers and rust-resistant input terminals enhance protection in challenging environments. The pair exceeds MilSpec 810 environmental requirements and features an IEC 529 IP-X5 splashproof rating.
