The JBL Control 60PS/T Pair provides powerful bass extension and high-impact low-frequency performance for high-fidelity foreground and background music systems. Each subwoofer features a 200 mm 8-inch long-excursion driver with a polypropylene-coated paper cone and butyl rubber surround for tight, well-damped bass and long-term reliability. The 50 mm 2-inch high-temperature copper voice coil and low-mass fiberglass resin former provide responsive bass transients and dependable operation under high-power, high-duty-cycle conditions. The pendant design makes the pair suitable for restaurants, retail stores, music cafés, health clubs, theme bars, leisure venues, and other commercial environments.

Each Control 60PS/T provides 150W direct 8-ohm operation and supports 70V/100V distributed audio systems through its built-in transformer. The permanently engaged low-pass filter is used for standalone operation, while the Loop Out connection allows additional speakers to be connected in parallel before the low-pass filter. The integrated passive crossover supports configurations with either two or four compatible low-impedance satellite speakers, with suggested models including the Control 62P pendant, Control 52 surface-mount, and Control 42C in-ceiling loudspeakers. This flexible system architecture makes the pair suitable for complete distributed audio installations.

Each subwoofer features a high-impact polystyrene enclosure with a zinc-plated steel grille, powder-coat finish, and removable foam backing for painting. Environmental protection exceeds Mil Spec 810 requirements for humidity, salt spray, temperature, and UV exposure, while IP44 capability provides splash resistance. Two identical 15-foot galvanized steel suspension cable systems are included with each speaker, providing main and safety suspension with adjustable Gripple cable fasteners.
