JBL C67HC/T, Narrow 75° Coverage High Ceiling Pendant Speaker in Black - Pair

The JBL Control 67HC Pair is a narrow-coverage high-ceiling pendant loudspeaker system designed for venues where controlled sound dispersion and improved intelligibility are important. Each speaker features JBL RBI Radiation Boundary Integrator technology with a 75° conical coverage pattern to help focus sound in large or acoustically challenging spaces. The 165 mm 6.5-inch low-frequency driver uses a polypropylene-coated paper cone with a pure butyl rubber surround, while the 25 mm 1-inch textile soft-dome high-frequency driver provides detailed high-frequency reproduction. The pair is well suited for convention centers, transit centers, exhibit venues, hotel atriums, and other high-ceiling commercial environments.

Each Control 67HC provides 75W continuous pink-noise power with 300W peak capability and 150W continuous program power. The 8-ohm design supports direct low-impedance operation as well as 70V/100V distributed audio through the built-in transformer, with 60W, 30W, 15W, and 7.5W taps at 70V and 60W, 30W, and 15W taps at 100V. With 93 dB sensitivity, a 75° coverage angle, and up to 118 dB peak SPL, the speakers provide focused sound distribution for applications where broad dispersion is not desired. The controlled directivity helps support clear music and voice reproduction in large spaces with challenging acoustics.

Each speaker features a high-impact polystyrene enclosure and zinc-plated steel grille with powder-coat finish and removable foam backing for painting. The construction exceeds Mil Spec 810 requirements for humidity, salt spray, temperature, and UV exposure, while IP44 capability provides splash-proof protection. Two 15-foot high-tensile galvanized steel suspension cable systems are included with each speaker for main and safety suspension, with adjustable Gripple cable fasteners for flexible installation height.
