The JBL Control 126W Pair is a premium in-wall loudspeaker system designed for high-quality foreground music, critical listening, and professional commercial installations where strong performance with minimal visual impact is required. Each speaker features a 165 mm 6.5-inch polymer-coated aluminum-cone low-frequency driver with a pure butyl rubber surround for controlled and extended bass response. A 25 mm 1-inch pure-titanium dome high-frequency driver provides detailed high-frequency reproduction and is mounted on a low-diffraction swivel mechanism for flexible aiming. The pair delivers an extended frequency range of 38 Hz to 20 kHz, making it suitable for a wide variety of music and audio applications.

Each Control 126W provides 50W continuous pink-noise power handling, 100W continuous program power, and 200W peak power capability. Its 8-ohm impedance supports conventional low-impedance amplifier systems, while the 3rd-order 18 dB/octave crossover network provides controlled low-pass filtering to the woofer and high-pass filtering to the tweeter. With 88 dB sensitivity and a broad 180° horizontal by 160° vertical coverage pattern, the speakers provide consistent sound distribution across listening areas. An optimum air cavity of 20 to 40 liters behind each speaker helps support proper in-wall performance.

The Control 126W is designed for applications including boardrooms, reception areas, airports, convention centers, cruise ships, retail outlets, restaurants, museums, surround-sound locations, and other critical listening environments. The compact in-wall design measures 11.0" x 8.5" x 4.1", with a required cutout of 9.7" x 7.2" and support for wall thicknesses up to 1.25". A screw-down Euroblock-type input connector accepts wire sizes up to 14 AWG, while included cutout templates and paint shields simplify installation. Optional WB6 rough-in frames can be used for new-construction installations to wall studs, making the Control 126W Pair a flexible solution for discreet professional audio integration.
