The JBL Control 12C/T is a compact full-range ceiling loudspeaker designed for distributed audio installations requiring clear sound and convenient installation. This pair includes two speakers, making it suitable for classrooms, retail spaces, offices, restaurants, hospitality venues, and other commercial environments. Each speaker uses a 76 mm (3 in) wide-bandwidth driver with a polypropylene cone, butyl rubber surround, and high-temperature voice coil for dependable performance.
Supporting both 70V/100V distributed systems and 8-ohm low-impedance operation, the Control 12C/T provides flexibility for a variety of audio installations. Each speaker features a 15W multi-tap transformer and delivers a frequency range of 68 Hz to 17 kHz with a wide 130° conical coverage pattern. The removable locking 4-pin connector also supports convenient input and loop-through wiring.
Designed for efficient installation, each speaker features an integrated formed-steel backcan and an ABS baffle with fire-rated construction. The pair includes essential mounting accessories such as C-ring support backing plates, tile support rails, cutout templates, paint shields, removable locking connectors, and grilles. With UL1480 and UL2043 certifications and suitability for air-handling spaces, the JBL Control 12C/T pair provides a practical solution for professional commercial ceiling audio systems.
