Description
The JBL Control 19CS Pair includes two compact in-ceiling subwoofers designed to provide powerful low-frequency reinforcement for commercial distributed audio systems. Each speaker features a long-excursion 200 mm, 8-inch subwoofer driver capable of producing a 42 Hz to 200 Hz frequency range. The pair provides an effective solution for adding impactful bass to music, paging, and background audio installations without requiring floor-standing subwoofers.
JBL's proprietary Nested Chamber design and Linear Dynamic Aperture™ port design work together to produce high acoustic output from a low-profile ceiling enclosure. Each Control 19CS delivers up to 109 dB maximum SPL at the center of the ceiling and up to 115 dB near a corner, with peak levels reaching 115 dB and 121 dB respectively. The 180° conical coverage helps distribute low-frequency energy throughout the listening area.
The Control 19CS supports 8-ohm low-impedance operation and uses a removable locking connector with screw-down terminals for straightforward wiring. Each speaker includes a formed-steel blind-mount backcan, fire-rated medium-impact polystyrene baffle and rim, grille, and tile rails for fast installation. UL1480, UL2043, NFPA90, and NFPA70 compliance also supports use in air-handling spaces and professional commercial environments.
