The JBL Control 19CST Pair includes two high-output in-ceiling subwoofers designed to add powerful low-frequency reinforcement to commercial distributed audio systems. Each speaker features a long-excursion 200 mm, 8-inch subwoofer driver that delivers a 42 Hz to 200 Hz frequency range. With high sensitivity and up to 114 dB maximum SPL near a ceiling corner, the pair provides substantial bass output while maintaining a low-profile in-ceiling design.
JBL's proprietary Nested Chamber™ and Linear Dynamic Aperture™ technologies help maximize bass performance from the compact enclosure. Each Control 19CST provides 180° conical coverage and offers 95 dB sensitivity near a ceiling corner or 89 dB at the center of a ceiling. The transformer-equipped design provides 75W, 30W, and 15W taps at 70V or 100V, plus a 7.5W tap at 70V for flexible system configuration.
The pair is designed for straightforward professional installation with formed-steel backcans, fire-rated medium-impact polystyrene baffles and rims, removable locking connectors, and included tile support hardware. Each speaker is supplied with a grille, backcan, tile rails, cutout template, paint shield, and removable locking wiring connector. UL1480, UL2043, NFPA90, and NFPA70 compliance supports use in air-handling spaces and a wide range of commercial environments.
