JBL's Radiation Boundary Integrator (RBI) technology provides a consistent 120° broadband coverage pattern across the listening area. Each Control 45C/T combines a 130 mm, 5.25-inch polypropylene-coated paper cone woofer with a butyl rubber surround and a 20 mm, 0.75-inch soft-dome tweeter mounted on an 8.25-inch waveguide. The pair supports 8-ohm direct operation and 70V/100V distributed audio with selectable transformer taps up to 60W.
