JBL Control 65P/T Compact Full-Range Pendant Speaker in Black - Pair

The JBL Control 65P/T Pair is a compact full-range pendant loudspeaker system designed for open-architecture ceilings and other applications where a suspended speaker is preferred. Each speaker incorporates JBL's Radiation Boundary Integrator technology to provide consistent, wide coverage throughout the listening space. Its 130 mm 5.25-inch low-frequency driver uses a polypropylene-coated paper cone with a pure butyl rubber surround, while a 20 mm 0.75-inch textile soft-dome tweeter provides detailed high-frequency reproduction. The compact pendant form factor makes the pair suitable for restaurants, retail spaces, hospitality venues, leisure environments, and other commercial installations.

Each Control 65P/T provides 75W continuous pink-noise power and 150W continuous program power, with 300W peak capability. The 8-ohm design also supports 70V/100V distributed audio through its built-in multi-tap transformer, with 60W, 30W, 15W, and 7.5W taps at 70V and 60W, 30W, and 15W taps at 100V. Its 120° conical coverage, 86 dB sensitivity, and 105 dB continuous maximum SPL provide broad and dependable sound distribution. The speakers can be integrated into distributed audio systems where high-fidelity full-range reproduction and discreet installation are important.

Each speaker features a high-impact polystyrene enclosure with a zinc-plated steel grille, powder-coat finish, and removable foam backing for painting. Environmental protection exceeds Mil Spec 810 requirements for humidity, salt spray, temperature, and UV exposure, while IP44 capability provides splash-proof protection. Two 15-foot high-tensile galvanized steel suspension cable systems are included with each speaker, providing main and safety suspension with adjustable Gripple cable fasteners.
