The JBL CSS-1S/T Pair is a versatile compact two-way loudspeaker system designed for background and foreground music, speech reinforcement, and distributed audio applications. Each loudspeaker combines a 5.25-inch low-frequency driver with a 0.75-inch polycarbonate dome tweeter to deliver balanced full-range sound and clear vocal reproduction. The compact enclosure makes the pair suitable for a variety of commercial installation environments.
The CSS-1S/T supports 100V and 70V distributed speaker lines through selectable transformer taps, while an 8-ohm direct setting provides compatibility with conventional low-impedance amplifier systems. With 60W power capacity, 86 dB sensitivity, and 106 dB maximum SPL in 8-ohm direct mode, the loudspeakers provide reliable output for music and speech applications.
A 120° horizontal and vertical coverage pattern helps distribute sound evenly throughout the listening area. The polypropylene structural-foam enclosure provides a durable and lightweight housing, while the included wall-mounting bracket assembly allows flexible positioning.
