JBL LCT 81C/TM, Low Profile Lay-In 600 mm x 600 mm Metric Ceiling Tile Loudspeaker with 200 mm Driver - Pair

The JBL LCT 81C/TM Pair includes two full-range ceiling loudspeakers designed specifically for 600 mm x 600 mm metric suspended grid ceilings. Each speaker uses a high-efficiency 200 mm, 8-inch dual-cone driver with a 25 mm, 1-inch voice coil, Kapton coil former, and high-temperature voice coil wire. The lay-in design requires no cutting of ceiling tiles, helping simplify installation while minimizing mess and installation time.

Each LCT 81C/TM provides a 100 Hz to 16 kHz frequency range, 96 dB sensitivity, and 100° conical coverage for clear speech reinforcement and light-to-medium music applications. The speakers support both low-impedance direct operation and 70V or 100V distributed audio systems. A 10W multi-tap transformer provides 10W, 5W, and 2.5W settings, plus a 1.3W tap for 70V systems, while the rotary selector on the side of each backcan makes power selection convenient.

The pair features formed-steel rear enclosures, metal baffles, and white perforated metal grilles for a clean professional appearance. With a depth of only 4.1 inches, each speaker is suitable for shallow ceiling spaces or areas with installation obstructions. Two rear safety-seismic attachment tabs and four corner mounting holes provide additional securing options. UL1480A and UL2043 certifications support use in ceiling plenum spaces, making the pair suitable for classrooms, retail stores, offices, airports, meeting rooms, reception areas, paging systems, and other commercial installations.
