Description

The JBL MTC-424NC is a six-pack of optional new construction brackets designed for Control 424C/T loudspeakers. The brackets are installed before sheetrock to establish the speaker location and simplify ceiling preparation.

Constructed from flat sheet metal, each bracket features wings for attachment to the building structure. Pre-drilled mounting holes support common construction spacing, while additional holes can be added by the installer when required.

After the sheetrock is installed, the bracket ring provides a guide for cutting the speaker opening with a router-type cutting tool. The brackets can also be used to secure wiring behind the ceiling before the sheetrock is installed.
