The JMAZ Wi-MAZ BP is a professional battery-powered wireless DMX transceiver designed for flexible lighting control in mobile productions, events, DJ setups, and installations. Capable of operating as either a transmitter or receiver, it provides wireless DMX512 communication over a stable 2.4GHz connection with automatic frequency hopping to help maintain reliable signal performance in demanding environments. With a line-of-sight range of up to 1600 feet (500 meters), it gives lighting professionals the freedom to position fixtures without relying on long DMX cable runs.
Built for extended operation, the Wi-MAZ BP features a high-capacity 2500mAh lithium-ion battery that delivers up to 80 hours of runtime in receiver mode or up to 20 hours in transmitter mode. Seven selectable DMX ID groups allow multiple units to operate simultaneously while reducing the possibility of signal overlap. The unit supports WiDMX, W-TRN, W-RCV, and Generic wireless DMX protocols, while its 3-pin DMX input and output provide convenient integration with conventional wired lighting systems.
The compact aluminum housing is designed for dependable use while remaining easy to transport between venues and production locations. Fanless cooling helps provide quiet operation, while the built-in Kensington Lock and M10 threaded attachment point offer added practicality for professional installations. A fast two-hour charging time keeps the unit ready for the next production, and the included AC-to-USB power adapter, USB power cable, transmit/receive converter, and user manual provide the essential accessories needed for setup and operation.
