2 L-Acoustics Syva 2-way 5" Passive Column Speaker

The L-Acoustics Syva is a 2-way 5" Passive Column Speaker. 2-way passive enclosure with six 5 in drivers and three 1.75 diaphragm compression drivers coupled to a cylindrical waveguide with 140° of horizontal directivity and a tightly controlled 26° of vertical directivity. The enclosure cabinet is constructed of premium-grade Baltic beech and birch plywood with a slim elegance for easy integration. The enclosure front is protected by a coated steel grill and an acoustically transparent fabric. The enclosure integrates rigging and safety inserts for flown, wall-mount, pole-mount, and stacked configurations. The enclosure integrates a signal connector on the bottom panel to connect to the companion subwoofer. Exclusively driven and protected by a proprietary amplified controller through a dedicated preset.

2 L-Acoustics Syva Low 2 x 12'' High Power Low Frequency Subwoofer

The L-Acoustics Syva Low is a 2 x 12'' High Power Low-Frequency Subwoofer. Syva is a colinear system suited to medium-throw applications. It is designed for professional sound reinforcement and high-end residential applications requiring high fidelity and SPL with minimum impact. Syva features six 5" MF speakers providing usable bandwidth to 87 Hz and three 1.75" HF diaphragm compression drivers, loaded by DOSC waveguides in a J-shaped progressive curvature. This transducer arrangement produces a H/V 140° x 26° (+5/-21°) directivity pattern, optimized for ultra-wide horizontal coverage with extended throw capability. Its companion Syva Low enclosure features two K2 12” drivers designed to provide low-frequency contour and extended bandwidth down to 40 Hz. Syva Sub features one high-excursion 12” driver equipped with a KS28 woofer motor to further extend the bandwidth of the system in the sub frequency domain down to 27 Hz. Syva can be wall- or pole-mounted, as well as flown, or used alone with its baseplate. Alternatively, Syva can be rapidly mounted on top of Syva Low or Syva Sub using the AutoConnect plug-and-play audio and physical link.

2 L-Acoustics Syva Bass Baseplate for Syva System

The L-Acoustics Syva Bass Baseplate for Syva System. Syva Base is a base plate for Syva, Syva Low and Syva Sub. It must be secured to the bottom of the enclosure and features four runners for stability. These can be removed to secure the base plate to the floor.

The L-Acoustics LA4X US Amplified Controller with PFC 4 x 1000 W /8 Ohms. The LA4X is an amplified controller based on a 4-input by 4-output architecture and an exclusive green power module providing maximized efficiency. With LA4X, L-ACOUSTICS® speakers can get all the benefits of the self-powered speaker, while keeping the versatility of the separated amplification approach. The L-ACCOUSTICS systems can be operated in thee connectivity modes as described below,

A la carte

The pool of four inputs and four amplification channels of the LA4x can be allocated "à la carte" to any passive speaker enclosures with a 1 to 1 link. This approach is cost-effective for applications requiring a high count of independent sound sources such as stage monitors, multi-channel systems and multi-feed distributed systems.

Fully Active

In high-end installation projects, the LA4X can drive active systems up to K2, for maximum power headroom and the best possible performances. With one transducer section per output channel and the independent DSP treatment of each loudspeaker enclosure, this approach brings maximum discretization with a one-to-one-to-one link, from input-to-processing-to-enclosure.

Conventional

For applications requiring a high count of loudspeaker enclosures with optimized cost of amplification, the LA4X can efficiently operate as a conventional amplified controller driving speakers in parallel from its four amplification channels, with the added benefit of the 4 inputs when using passive loudspeaker enclosures.

Green Power

LA4X is a "green" amplified controller that relies on a universal switch mode power supply suitable for mains from 90V to 265V. The SMPS features a Power Factor Correction (PFC) which maximizes the amplifier efficiency and takes advantage of nearly 100% of the electrical power available with a very high tolerance to unstable mains. The PFC allows the LA4X to deliver as much power from a 10A line as from a 16A line on a conventional amp.

I/O and DSP

The LA4X inputs are available in analog or digital format. Four cascaded 24-bit A/D converters from 44.1kHz to 192 kHz. Automotive fallback functions make the creation of redundant audio paths possible. Proprietary algorithms are processed in a 32-bit floating point DSP engine at a 96kHz sampling rate. A dedicated engineering approach to combining IIR and FIR filters generates perfectly linearized phase curves and significantly improved impulse responses for an even, more natural, transparent, and realistic sound experience. Room tuning and system EQ can be achieved without external processes.

User Interface

The front panel user interface features extremely fast access to editing the 4 input and 4 output settings. The encoder wheel gives instant access to the user menus and the 2x24 character screen offers real-time visualization of the system parameters.
