The Lake People DIGI-TOOL-F622 Wordclock/AES-iD Splitter is a professional-grade digital distribution amplifier designed for studio and broadcast environments. It supports both Word Clock (WCLK) and AES3-id digital audio signals, providing a total of 2 inputs and 16 outputs arranged as two identical 1×8 modules. For maximum flexibility, each module can be used independently or internally linked for a 1-to-8 configuration.
Engineered for reliable long-distance signal distribution, the F622 features highly sensitive inputs to restore degraded or unstable digital signals, as well as high output voltages to ensure signal integrity over extended cable runs. Output impedance can be adapted via internal jumpers from 75 Ω to 50 Ω for challenging input stages. The unit also offers jumper-selectable modes for AES-3id compatibility and “Superclock 256 Fs” operation.
With the optional MULTI-SYNC UNIT, the F622 gains advanced clocking capabilities, including three external sync inputs (AES/EBU, AES-id, WCLK), an AES/EBU sync output, multiple sample rate options (32–196 kHz), and front-panel displays for sync source, lock status, error monitoring, and more. This makes the F622 a versatile solution for any high-demand digital audio distribution task.
