The LD Systems SGP42 is a compact Ethernet-based I/O interface from the TIVA® series, designed to simplify control and automation tasks in professional AV environments. Engineered for seamless integration with the QUESTRA platform, it enables centralized configuration, remote management, and reliable communication with a wide range of third-party devices. Its ultra-compact form factor makes it an ideal solution for installations where space is limited but flexible, network-enabled control is essential.
Offering extensive connectivity, the SGP42 features four configurable digital GPIO ports that can operate as dry-contact inputs for buttons and presence sensors or as TTL-level outputs for indicators and external devices. It also includes two Normally Open (NO) relay outputs and an RS232 interface with a 3-pin terminal block, enabling control of serial equipment and automated functions such as media playback, projector operation, lighting activation, and other building control tasks. These versatile interfaces allow users to create customized automation sequences tailored to the needs of meeting rooms, classrooms, hospitality spaces, and integrated AV systems.
Designed for dependable operation and straightforward installation, the DSGP42 supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) while also offering a 12–24 VDC terminal block input for optional external power. Integrated status LEDs provide clear monitoring of GPIO, relay, and RS232 activity, simplifying setup and troubleshooting. Measuring just 95 mm × 68 mm × 17 mm, the device can be conveniently mounted on surfaces, inside technical enclosures, or directly onto walls using the included mounting accessories. Combining compact design, flexible I/O capabilities, and seamless QUESTRA integration, the SGP42 delivers a practical and reliable solution for modern automation applications.
