The Nord Piano 6, Professional Stage Piano features a new panel design with LED faders, dual layers for Piano and Synth with independent effects and a premium Triple Sensor keybed. Combined with excellent portability and our world-class sounds, the Nord Piano 6 offers great flexibility for performance and sound creation.

Performance

The Nord Piano 6 has a new panel design with dedicated LED faders for Piano and Synth sections as well as knobs and buttons for all essential features, offering great flexibility when performing and designing sounds. The dual Piano and Synth engines can be layered together or split across the keyboard, with each layer featuring its own dedicated Effects section. The Nord Piano 6 offers dual piano layers and dual synth layers, along with a split point featuring nine locations and optional crossfade. It ensures seamless transitions and includes six live programs. Additionally, the Nord Triple Pedal 2 provides program up/down functionality and vibrato options.

Piano Section

The Nord Piano 6 contains a large selection of Grands, Uprights and Electric Pianos from our exclusive Nord Piano Library along with new features such as Dynamic Compression and Unison. Our state-of-the-art sampling technique captures the extraordinary nuances and real character of the source instruments. The Piano Section of the Nord Piano 6 features an extensive collection of Grands, Uprights, EPs, and more, complemented by creative timbre options for versatile sound shaping. The included Nord Triple Pedal 2 enhances the playing experience with unique Advanced String Resonance and Dynamic Pedal Noise features, providing stunning realism and expressiveness. Additional highlights include dynamic compression and a unison feature, ensuring rich and immersive piano tones.

Sample Synth Section

The Sample Synth features two independent layers and comes with a broad collection of new and updated sounds, ranging from strings, wind, brass, basses and guitars to classic analog leads and basses. The factory bank includes exclusive high-end samples from the acclaimed Spitfire, Symphobia and Swing libraries. The Sample Synth section provides two fully-featured and independent Layers equipped with intuitive controls for attack, decay/sustain, release and dynamic velocity response.

The Sample Synth features two independent layers, enhanced with Tru-Vibrato, Unison, and Round Robin. Unison blends multiple sample voices to create rich, ensemble-like sounds, while Tru-Vibrato captures the unique vibrato characteristics of various acoustic instruments. The Round-Robin feature ensures natural sounding repetitions when notes are repeated.

Effect Section

The Nord Piano 6 features an expanded, dedicated Effects section for each layer, offering a wide range of effects. It includes modulation effects with adjustable rate and amount, as well as global reverb with send per layer, pre-delay, chorale, and bright/dark modes. New additions include a spring reverb, spin effect, and delay with new filter, flam, and ping-pong options. Additionally, the piano offers a dedicated compressor effect and an amp with new tone variations.

Nord Sound Libraries:

The Nord Piano 6 gives you the flexibility to easily swap out samples and sounds through the Nord Sound Manager. You can select from the continually growing Nord Sound Libraries or incorporate your own samples using the Nord Sample Editor.
