Which controller does the FZGSATXDJAZW fit?
The AlphaTheta XDJ-AZ. Odyssey lists this case for the XDJ-AZ only, and the XDJ-AZ is not included.
What does the glide platform do?
It gives your laptop a home above the XDJ-AZ on a 37.75 x 12 inch surface, so the laptop sits within reach without a separate stand.
Can I keep the XDJ-AZ cabled up inside the case?
Yes. Port holes let cables pass through the case, there is 4 inches of rear spacing depth behind the unit, and the front panel is removable.
Silver or Black Label: FZGSATXDJAZW or FZGSATXDJAZWBL?
Same case, different hardware. This FZGSATXDJAZW has silver hardware; the FZGSATXDJAZWBL has all black anodized and powder-coated hardware. Both measure 40 x 24.25 x 10.75 inches and weigh 47 pounds.
Do I need the glide platform and rack space?
Only if you carry a laptop or rack gear with the XDJ-AZ. The FZXDJAZW is the plain wheeled flight case for the XDJ-AZ, at 38.25 x 23.75 x 8.25 inches and 32.5 pounds, 14.5 pounds lighter than this case. Browse every XDJ-AZ case to compare.
