Description

The Odyssey FZGSRANEONEBLCW (FZGS Rane One, Black) is a black flight case for the Rane One and Rane One MKII motorized DJ controller, with Odyssey's patented Glide Style laptop platform and corner wheels. It measures 31 x 19.75 x 9.75 in, weighs about 36.3 lbs, and its glide platform gives you a 28.75 x 12 in shelf above the controller for a laptop or other gear.

The controller sits in a 26.5 x 12.5 in gear compartment with 4 in of rear space for cables, and the lid has 2.75 in of interior height. The glide platform slides out over the controller while you play and slides back into its rails when you close the case. The Rane One is not included.

Does the FZGSRANEONEBLCW fit the Rane One MKII?

Yes. Odyssey lists this case for both the Rane One MKII and the original Rane One.

Can I transport the case with my laptop on the glide platform?

No. Odyssey says not to transport the case with gear stored on the glide platform, and the platform can come out of its rails when slid to its furthest point. Position it correctly and seat it back in the rails before closing the lid.

How much room is there for a laptop?

The glide platform surface is 28.75 x 12 in. It sits over the controller and slides out toward you when the case is open.

FZGSRANEONEBLCW, FZGSRANEONEW or FZGSRANEONEW1?

All three are Odyssey Glide Style cases for the Rane One. The FZGSRANEONEBLCW is the black version with corner wheels: 31 x 19.75 x 9.75 in, about 36.3 lbs, with a 28.75 x 12 in glide platform. The FZGSRANEONEW measures 32.5 x 20.25 x 9.5 in, weighs about 39 lbs, and has a 30 x 12 in glide platform with 2 cable port holes and a removable V-cut front panel. The FZGSRANEONEW1 adds a 1U rack space under the controller for gear like a wireless mic system or power strip, at 33.75 x 21.5 x 11.75 in and about 43 lbs, with a 33.75 x 12 in glide platform. Pick the BLCW for the smallest, lightest of the three, the W1 if you need rack space.

Is there a Rane One case without the glide platform?

Yes. The Odyssey FZRANEONEBL is a black flight case for the Rane One without the sliding laptop shelf. See every option in Odyssey Rane One cases and Glide Style DJ cases.
