Description
The Odyssey FZGSXDJXZW1BL (FZGS XDJXZ W1 BL) is a Black Label road case for the Pioneer DJ XDJ-XZ all-in-one DJ system, with a patented full-width Glide Style laptop platform, a pre-mounted 1U 19-inch rack space under the controller, and built-in wheels. It measures 40.25 x 24.25 x 11.25 inches and weighs 51 pounds.
The glide platform slides over the XDJ-XZ to hold a laptop, tablet or effects unit, and its tension latch rail system accepts Odyssey's optional GSABL angled add-on panels for extra height. A removable V-cut front panel opens the front controls and jacks, a bottom cable port handles wiring, and the 1U rack below the controller takes a wireless mic receiver, power strip, drive rack or drawer. All hardware is black anodized and powder coated.

Can I use the XDJ-XZ while it is in this case?
Yes. Take off the V-cut front panel to reach the front controls and jacks, route cables through the bottom cable port, and slide the glide platform over the unit for your laptop.
What can go in the 1U rack?
One rack unit of standard 19-inch gear, such as a wireless microphone receiver, a power strip, a drive rack or a storage drawer. The rails mount front or rear and can be removed.
Can I raise the laptop higher?
Yes. The platform's tension latch rails take Odyssey's GSABL angled add-on panels, sold separately, for extra elevation.
Can I move the case with my laptop on the platform?
No. Odyssey says not to transport the case with gear on the glide platform, which lifts out when slid all the way forward.
How does it compare with the other Odyssey XDJ-XZ cases?
Among the Black Label XDJ-XZ cases, the FZGSXDJXZW1BL is the only one with a 1U rack, and it is the largest at 40.25 x 24.25 x 11.25 inches and 51 pounds. The FZGSXDJXZWBL keeps the glide platform and wheels without the rack, at 39.25 x 24.5 x 11.25 inches. The FZPIXDJXZWBL is a low-profile case with no glide platform, at 38 x 23.25 x 7.5 inches and 33 pounds. Browse all XDJ-XZ cases.
