Palmer Bridge 4P, 4-Channel 19" Passive DI Box

The Palmer Bridge 4P, is a 4-channel passive DI box in 19" rack format with high-quality transformers that handle even high levels without distorting or losing the pure sound of your instrument. Each channel is equipped with a 1/4" jack input, a THRU output (for forwarding the input signals to an amplifier, for example), and two transformer-balanced XLR outputs - one at the front and one at the rear.

With a transformation ratio of 10:1, the transformers ensure optimum impedance and level matching for connecting instrument signals from guitar, bass, keyboard or synthesizer to a balanced microphone input. At the same time galvanic isolation prevents ground loop hum, so that the signal remains pure, clear and ultra-low noise, without any interference.

Thanks to a switchable 30dB pre-attenuation, the BRIDGE 4P can be fed with extremely high input levels in addition to line signals, which means it can even be looped in between the amplifier output and speakers, for example. The Audio-Over-Cat output enables the signals of all 4 channels to be routed via a single Cat (Cat5e or higher) cable. This saves material, space and time. Due to its passive design, the BRIDGE 4P requires no power supply, which makes it extremely fail-safe.
