Description
The Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX10 (DDJ FLX10) is a 4-channel, 4-deck performance controller for rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro, and the successor to the DDJ-1000SRT. It adds real-time Track Separation, an expanded On Jog Display, Mix Point Link for automatic transitions, and a DMX output for driving lighting straight from the controller. A 24-bit/44.1 kHz soundcard, 110 dB signal-to-noise ratio and USB Type-C connection put it in club and touring booths as readily as a home studio.
What it changes over the DDJ-1000SRT
- Track Separation. Break a track into its parts in real time and play with them live, rather than needing stems prepared in advance.
- Expanded On Jog Display. Four display modes, some showing 3 Band Waveforms in rekordbox, plus Mix Point Link status, vocal position analysis and Performance Pad state — so you keep your eyes on the decks.
- Mix Point Link. Link a mix point in one track to a point in the next so the incoming song starts at exactly the right moment. No counting, no manual play, and your hands stay free for effects.
- DMX output. Drive lighting directly from the controller without a separate DMX interface.
- Upgraded MAGVEL FADER with finer precision.
- Multicolored jog ring — a first on a Pioneer DJ controller. It can show which part of a track is playing during Track Separation, or be set to whatever colours you prefer.
- Both platforms, and DVS on both. rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro, each with DVS control.
- USB Type-C.
Which Pioneer controller is right for you?
- DDJ-FLX4 — 2 channels. The entry point, for learning and small gigs.
- DDJ-REV5 — 2 channels, scratch-style battle layout.
- DDJ-REV7 — 2 channels with motorised platters, for turntablists.
- DDJ-FLX10 (this controller) — 4 channels and 4 decks, both platforms, Track Separation and DMX. The most capable controller in the range without moving to standalone gear.
- XDJ-RX3 — standalone, no laptop required. Choose this instead if you want to play from a USB drive rather than from software.

Common questions
Does the DDJ-FLX10 work with both rekordbox and Serato?
Yes, and with DVS on both. You are not locked to one platform, which is the main practical reason to choose it over the DDJ-1000SRT it replaces.
Do I need a laptop?
Yes. The DDJ-FLX10 is a controller, so it runs rekordbox or Serato DJ Pro on a computer. If you want to play from a USB drive with no laptop, look at the XDJ-RX3 instead.
Can it run my lights?
Yes. It has a DMX output, so you can drive a lighting rig directly from the controller without a separate DMX interface.
What is Track Separation?
It splits a track into its component parts in real time, so you can drop the vocal, isolate the drums or build a mash-up live. The multicolored jog ring can show you which part is playing while you do it.
What is the difference from the DDJ-REV7?
The REV7 is a 2-channel battle controller with motorised platters, built for scratching. The FLX10 is a 4-channel, 4-deck performance controller with Track Separation and DMX. Different jobs: pick the REV7 to scratch, the FLX10 to mix four decks.
How big is it?
716 x 73.4 x 400.3 mm and 6.7 kg, so it needs a reasonably deep table or a controller stand.
