Description
The ProX XGF-360 (XGF360) is a 3-inch wide, 180-foot (60-yard) roll of matte cloth gaffer tape for DJs, stage crews, theater, film, photography and TV broadcast. It is 11.8 mil thick, rated at 35.8 lb/in tensile strength, and uses a solvent-free natural rubber adhesive that removes cleanly without leaving residue. This listing covers the XGF-360 colors, including fluorescent yellow (XGF-360FLY), pink (XGF-360PINK), orange, green (XGF-360GREEN) and hazard (XGF-360HAZARD); pick yours from the color selector.
Use it to tape down cable runs, secure lighting fixtures and props, mark stage positions and flag trip hazards. The 3-inch width covers wider cable runs and stage edges in fewer passes than a 2-inch tape, and the bright colors are easy to spot on a dark stage or in a low-light load-in.

Does the XGF-360 leave residue when you pull it up?
No. The solvent-free natural rubber adhesive grips through the show and peels off floors, cables, cases and gear without leaving a sticky mess, which is the main difference between gaffer tape and duct tape.
Can I use it outdoors?
Yes. The cloth backing has a water-resistant surface that holds up at outdoor events and in humid venues. For the best bond, apply it firmly to a clean, dry surface that is free of grease, oil and dust.
Will it show up under stage lights or on camera?
Not as a glare. The matte cloth backing is non-reflective, so it does not catch stage light or bounce back into a camera the way shiny duct tape does.
Do I need scissors to cut it?
No. The woven cloth backing tears straight by hand, so you can work fast without a blade.
Why use colored gaffer tape?
Color coding. Give audio, power and video their own color so the crew can trace a run at a glance, and use bright tape to mark performer, speaker and monitor positions so they are easy to read under stage lighting.
Should I get the 2-inch, 3-inch or 4-inch ProX gaffer tape?
Pick the 3-inch XGF-360 for heavier cable bundles, wider runs and stage edges where you want more holding surface per strip. ProX calls the 2-inch the most versatile everyday width and the better choice for tight corners, labeling and smaller cables. The 4-inch gives the most coverage per strip for large cable groups and fast load-ins.
