Description
The Radial Engineering StageBug SB-6 is a compact passive stereo signal isolator designed to remove hum and buzz from balanced and unbalanced audio systems. Its dual Eclipse custom transformers provide galvanic isolation while maintaining an exceptionally linear response throughout the audio range. The SB-6 is well suited for stereo systems, guitar rigs, pedalboards, powered speakers, amplifiers, DJ mixers, and professional audio setups where unwanted noise or ground loops are present.
The SB-6 features dual isolation transformers that provide a flat 20Hz to 20kHz frequency response while maintaining very low distortion. Its input pad accommodates high-level sources, making the unit suitable for instruments, consumer audio devices, and professional balanced signals. Dual ground lift functionality provides additional noise reduction, while the 180° polarity reverse switch helps correct phase cancellation when connecting powered speakers or guitar amplifiers.
Built into a rugged 14-gauge steel chassis and outer shell, the StageBug SB-6 is designed for reliable use in demanding live and studio environments. Its completely passive design requires no external power, allowing it to be inserted into an audio signal chain quickly and easily. The compact enclosure measures 3.92" x 2.54" x 1.7" and weighs only 0.9 lbs., making it convenient for pedalboards, guitar rigs, mobile systems, and permanent installations.
