The Radial Engineering SGI TX Stereo is the transmitter unit of the two-channel SGI Stereo system, designed to deliver high-impedance instrument signals over long distances with pristine clarity. It accepts a pair of unbalanced guitar, bass, or keyboard signals via hi-Z ¼" inputs and converts them into balanced signals capable of traveling up to 100 meters (300 ft) over a single standard Cat5 Ethernet cable. Featuring locking RJ45 etherCON connectors compatible with Neutrik etherCON, the SGI TX Stereo ensures secure and reliable connections for both stage and studio use, eliminating the need for long instrument or XLR cables.
The unit includes L/R hi-Z thru-puts for feeding unbalanced signals to local amplifiers or direct boxes, while its PSU connector supports 9–18V DC operation with the included 15V power supply.
