The Radial Engineering Voco-Loco MK2 is a vocal effects switcher designed to give microphones the same creative freedom as a pedalboard, while maintaining clean gain structure and dependable sound quality. Built for vocalists and multi-instrumental performers, it allows a microphone signal to be routed safely through guitar pedals and effects without sacrificing clarity or control. This updated MK2 version features improved audio performance, a locking XLR input, and an included 9V power supply, while remaining compatible with 9V–18V pedalboard power for easy integration into live and studio rigs.
Designed for voice, harmonica, brass, or any mic’d instrument, the Voco-Loco MK2 acts as a dedicated mic interface that bridges professional microphone signals with standard effects pedals. It sends the mic signal through a 1/4" effects loop and returns it cleanly, preserving tone and dynamics while allowing creative processing such as delay, modulation, overdrive, or ambience. The result is expressive sound shaping with the reliability required for performance environments.
The Voco-Loco MK2 also offers precise control over your effects chain, with independent send and receive level controls to optimize signal-to-noise and minimize distortion. A tone shift control smooths overly bright pedal returns, while a wet/dry blend lets you mix processed and original signals to taste.
