Description
The RCF PD 30A is a professional AC power distribution box designed to supply power to three XPS 16K amplifiers installed in a 19" rack. Its 2RU metal chassis provides a compact and organized power management solution for professional audio systems, touring racks, installations, and live production environments. The unit uses a 1.5-meter input cable terminated with a 30A NEMA L21-30P five-pole plug and supports either 120V line-to-neutral or 208V line-to-line power configurations.
Each XPS 16K amplifier output is protected by an individual 30A 1P+N circuit breaker and terminates in a Neutrik PowerCON NAC3FCH connector. Three outputs are provided with different cable lengths to help optimize internal rack wiring. The PD 30A also includes six internal Speakon NL4 cables that connect to three P-COM 8-pole connectors on the front panel, providing an organized connection system for the amplifiers. Three neon indicators show phase presence for convenient power monitoring.
Auxiliary power is provided through a front-panel double NEMA 5-15 outlet protected by a 20A upstream circuit breaker, along with two rear PowerCON NAC3MPB auxiliary connectors located on phases Y and Z and protected by fuses. The 482 mm wide, 2RU chassis is constructed from 1.5 mm sheet metal and provides IP31 protection. With its dedicated amplifier distribution, auxiliary outputs, circuit protection, phase indicators, and rackmount construction, the PD 30A is designed for professional power management in demanding audio applications.
