The RCF EVOX J9 is an active, three-way portable column system designed for maximum clarity and power in a compact format. A 1.75” compression driver coupled with a 120° × 40° True Resistive Waveguide ensures wide, consistent coverage, while 6 x 3” full-range transducers and a high-power 12” woofer in a bass-reflex enclosure deliver articulate mids and deep, controlled lows. Driven by a 2100W onboard dual-channel Class-D amplifier, EVOX J9 delivers an impressive 130 dB Max SPL output. Part of the EVOX J Series, it incorporates RCF’s tour-grade technology into a sleek, unobtrusive package that delivers crystal-clear vocals, natural musical response, and effortless deployment for bands, DJs, and live performers.

Powered by a 2100W onboard Class-D amplifier, EVOX J9 delivers an impressive 130 dB Max SPL output. Three equalisation presets are available: Live/Linear for perfectly flat, neutral output; Club for extended lows and crisp highs; and Voice for optimized intelligibility.
Highly energy-efficient, the J9 requires no cooling fan. The amplifier is mounted on a solid aluminium heat exchanger at the rear of the unit and has no moving parts. Mechanically coupled to the internal frame, the amplifier is securely braced within the cabinet for long-term reliability.
The input stage features a new low-distortion design with an advanced safety limiter that preserves the input signal's character at any level. EVOX J9 amplifier is designed in accordance with EN 62368-1 for maximum safety and feature a switch-mode power supply (SMPS) that combines high efficiency with minimal weight.
Neodymium compression driver (1.75” voice coil, Kapton dome) with a True Resistive Waveguide (TRW) for a resonance-free load and constant, 120° X 40° coverage.
The forward radiation of the array of 6x3” neodymium drivers, combined with the centred wave guide, delivers a balanced point-source response.
12” RCF transducer provides deep, controlled low frequencies, ideal for bass-heavy music and high-energy performances.
