The RCF KX 515-A W Professional 2-Way Active Speaker 2000W, DSP, Weatherproof – White is flexibility, power, and compactness make the KX 515-A ideal for installed and portable professional applications where size and weight are critical factors. This approach combines the advantages of RCF technology such as controlled dispersion, outstanding clarity and extreme power, multiple flexible rigging accessories, weatherproof protection, and RDNET real-time monitoring and management software with recallable presets. Its transducer configuration pairs two custom-loaded 5-inch cone drivers to a rotatable CMD waveguide surrounding a titanium 1.75-inch high-frequency compression driver. Whether it’s used as a compact main system, as fills, or surrounds in a larger system, KX 515-A is quick to deploy and fast to tune.

Low Frequency
Two 5” cone drivers on a custom-designed phase plug to enhance midrange efficiency and extend horizontal coverage, matching the waveguide dispersion for perfect coverage continuity around the crossover point.
High Frequency
The high-performance 1.75" titanium dome compression driver is fitted on a 100° x 70° rotatable constant-directivity waveguide. This special waveguide and high-frequency transducer design allow excellent control of directional characteristics. In difficult acoustic environments, intelligibility is significantly increased.

The enclosure is made of high-quality Baltic birch plywood, glued with water-resistant adhesive and coated with weatherproof polyurea paint, ensuring excellent waterproofing, UV resistance, corrosion protection, and durability against abrasion, impacts, and mechanical stress. The solid machined aluminum structure efficiently dissipates heat fanlessly, improving enclosure stiffness, while the high-strength structural steel rigging ensures a high safety factor for secure weight management. Die-cast aluminum handles with ergonomic rubber grips enhance usability.
Built for everyday use
Use it as a compact and powerful main system or to supplement a larger system. The waterproof cabinet is built in high-strength baltic birch plywood coated with White, robust, and scratch-resistant polyurea paint. Attached to a solid machined aluminum structure at the back, the amplifier heat dissipation is efficient and the cabinet is sturdy and stiff. A strong powder-coated metal grille protects the front, and an acoustically transparent sound foam backing on the inside of the grille ensures protection from dust and humidity.

Attached to a solid machined aluminum structure on the rear panel, the amplifier ensures efficient heat dissipation. The enclosure is internally reinforced and sturdy, equipped with waterproof PowerCON TRUE1 TOP mains connectors, guaranteeing durability under any outdoor conditions.
Bass Motion Control
KX speakers equipped with Bass Motion Control (BMC) produce the lowest audible frequencies without affecting the woofer stability, with extended linearity and better sound integrity. The BMC method creates a complete map of the dynamic behavior of the woofer, to generate a custom algorithm that limits over-excursions. Traditional high-pass filters protect the woofer from over-excursion but change the phase/frequency response. In contrast, the new BMC algorithm protects the woofer allowing total freedom of signal reproduction.
