Description
The RCF C 45 is a multipurpose two-way point source speaker designed for near and mid-distance applications. The RCF C 45 combines a 4" neodymium compression driver and a 15" neodymium woofer, delivering high SPL output with low distortion. Its constant directivity rotatable waveguide provides precise 100° x 50° coverage, ensuring consistent sound distribution across the listening area. The system is engineered for both speech and music clarity in professional environments.
High & Low Frequency Performance
The high-frequency section uses a titanium dome compression driver with a carefully designed voice coil, delivering natural sound reproduction and excellent power handling. It also allows a lower crossover point for improved vocal clarity and smoother mid-frequency response. The low-frequency woofer is built for stability under high current loads, minimizing distortion while maintaining efficiency and strong heat dissipation, even under demanding usage conditions.
Waveguide & Acoustic Control
The RCF C 45 features a rotatable constant directivity waveguide that ensures controlled sound dispersion even in acoustically challenging spaces. The standard 100° x 50° coverage can be adjusted using optional accessories to achieve 100° x 25° or 60° x 25° dispersion patterns. This flexibility improves speech intelligibility and allows precise acoustic tailoring for different installation environments.
Build Quality, Installation & Certification
The cabinet is constructed from lightweight birch plywood and finished with a durable polyurea coating for long-term protection. A robust powder-coated grille with protective foam adds extra durability. The speaker supports multiple installation options including wall, ceiling, flying, or truss mounting using optional accessories. It also includes Neutrik Speakon NL4 connectors and is EN 54-24:2008 certified, making it suitable for voice alarm and critical safety installations.
