Description
The Sennheiser EW-DX SKM is a professional digital handheld wireless transmitter designed for use with EW-DX receivers. Lightweight and ergonomically shaped, it is comfortable for performers and presenters to hold, while its rugged all-metal housing ensures durability for daily stage and presentation use. The transmitter is sold without a mic capsule, allowing users to select the capsule that best suits their application, from dynamic to condenser types.
With an impressive 134 dB dynamic range, the EW-DX SKM can handle a wide variety of sound sources, from soft vocals to loud instruments, without requiring gain adjustment. A convenient trim control allows for fine-tuning in group performances, and the e-Ink display lets users quickly name and identify the transmitter and view key parameters, even when the unit is powered off. The transmitter provides up to 8 hours of operation on two AA batteries or 12 hours with the optional BA 70 rechargeable battery pack, and supports in-transmitter charging via the CHG 70N network dock.
The EW-DX SKM integrates seamlessly with the EW-DX system, offering Bluetooth pairing with receivers up to 120 feet away and support for up to 146 channels in equidistant tuning mode or 293 channels in Link Density mode. Its interchangeable capsule design accommodates a wide range of mic types, including cardioid, omnidirectional, and supercardioid patterns, making it highly versatile for stage, broadcast, and presentation applications.
