Description
The Shure AD1 (AD1=-G57, AD1 TA4) is an Axient Digital wireless bodypack transmitter with a TA4 input for lavalier mics, headsets and instrument cables. It tunes across up to 184 MHz, passes 20 Hz to 20 kHz with more than 120 dB dynamic range, and runs up to 11 hours on a Shure SB900C rechargeable battery or up to 8 hours on two AA batteries.
The AD1 works with Axient Digital receivers. Two transmission modes are selectable: Standard for the best coverage and lowest latency, and High Density for the highest channel count in crowded spectrum. Audio is AES-256 encrypted, input gain is staged automatically, and the cast metal housing, backlit LCD, detachable 1/4-wave antenna and external charging contacts for docked charging round out a rugged design. Match the frequency band of every component in your system.

What receiver does the AD1 work with?
Axient Digital receivers. Buy the AD1 in the same frequency band as your receiver: this listing offers the G57, K54 and X55 bands.
Does the AD1 run on AA batteries?
Yes. Two AA batteries give up to 8 hours at 10 mW, and the optional Shure SB900C rechargeable battery gives up to 11 hours with precision battery metering.
What connector does the AD1 use?
A TA4M (4-pin mini) input, which takes TA4F lavalier and headset mics and instrument cables such as the Shure WA302. Shure also makes a LEMO3 version, the AD1LEMO3.
What is High Density mode?
A transmission mode that narrows channel spacing from 350 kHz to 125 kHz, so far more channels fit in the same spectrum for large multi-mic productions.
AD1 or ADX1?
Both are Axient Digital bodypacks with TA4 inputs. The AD1 runs on AA batteries or an SB900C rechargeable, weighs 155 g and measures 3.4 x 2.6 x 0.9 in. The ADX1 adds ShowLink remote control and automatic interference avoidance, runs up to 10 hours on the SB910 rechargeable (two included), and is slimmer and lighter at 142 g and 3.6 x 2.7 x 0.7 in. Pick the AD1 when you want AA backup power, the ADX1 for ShowLink control from the booth.
